People who've come here via a search for "hatelife," I don't know where it went, either. Sorry.
Hatelife.org (which may be down for a while or for good, I don't know yet) is (was?) an anonymous journal server popular among the disenchanted. Because I kind of knew the person who started it, I decided to set up an account and used it to post things I decided weren't somehow fit for my mentalsewage.com journal. The tone is obviously different here, perhaps because I took it less seriously, also because I was writing for a different audience (one I wasn't trying to lure into bed).
In case it isn't apparent, please note that about 95% of the angst in these entries is a joke! I was not really suffering due to the lack of a staple remover at my desk or a dumb bumpersticker I saw on some guy's car.
Anyhow, I've decided to collect quite a few of the entries to keep on my own site, in a slightly easier-to-read format. These are not all the entries, some were cut short and bold and italics tags were thrown in where I would've wanted them in the first place.
You can start in either direction, depending on which way you like to read these things, from the beginning or from the (sort of) end or just go to the archive.
