When I was 15 years old I saw Corey Feldman while in line for a roller coaster at Magic Mountain. I really didn't get excited. My reaction was more along the lines of "Wow, it's washed up actor Corey Feldman." In my opinion, the most interesting part of the story was talking to the weird people I met who had bought pictures of Corey Feldman on the roller coaster (this particular roller coaster had a camera that photographed you on the first drop... I was buying my own picture). One oafish young man bragged how he was about to beat the living crap of somebody "shoving" him in line, until he turned around and saw it was Corey Feldman and let him live. A young woman kept referring to Corey's friends as "his bodyguards," despite insistences that they probably were just his pals.

While at a computer lab in UCLA, I remember two people next to me were loudly chatting and laughing about a particular email. Out of curiosity, I glanced up, wanting to know what could be so funny. There was a girl at the keyboard and she asked me if I'd like a copy, so I gave her my email address. Her face was familiar, but I couldn't place it.

The email arrived shortly after she and her friend left. Then I realized who the girl was: Danica McKellar, who played Winnie Cooper on The Wonder Years. After a moment of surprise, I read the mail (it was a list of misheard lyrics "Pardon me while I kiss this guy," etc) and deleted it.
